Color coding the vascular canals in bone
Dear Imechanica Members,
I am a PhD student studying the porosity found in animal bones.
As a part of my research I wanted to color code the vascular canals segmented from the bone scans based on their diameter variations using a color map.
I had scanned a bone at a very high resolution of around 1 µm in a Micro CT machine and segmented the vascular canals from the bone scans as shown in the attached image.
I was working with AMIRA/AVIZO software from FEI and CTAN software from Bruker but I could not generate color coding using this softwares
I am curious to know if any Imechanica members can suggest any software tools that allow me to color code the vascular canals based on their diameter and display the results in a color map
Looking forward to any comments
Thanks
