Postdoc openings in Mechanics at Central South University

Postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the Department of School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering at Central South University in Dr. Li research group. Dr. Li’s research focuses on theoretical, experimental, and computational study on instabilities, acoustic metamaterials and wave propagation in soft matter; additive manufacturing and failure mechanism of advanced lightweight composite materials, fluid and structure interaction.

The candidates are required to have expertise in one of the following areas:

1. Buckling;
2. Mechanical metamaterial;
3. Impact mechanics;
4. Additive manufacturing;
5. Mechanics of soft materials;
6. Fluid and structure interaction. 

The annual salary varies from 250,000 to 400,000 CNY depending on the experience and qualification of the candidate.
