Postdoctoral and PhD positions at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School

Two postdoctoral researcher positions and one Ph.D. position are available in the Multiphase Fluid-Structure Interaction Lab in Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. The postdoc will assist the PI (Prof. Shunxiang Cao) in tasks associated with the high-performance simulations of multiphase fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems, including bubbly flow modeling, development of efficient fluid-structure coupling algorithms, development of high-performance fluid-structure coupled solver, and reinforcement-learning-based control of FSI.

Fully-funded PhD position in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kentucky

The Sun Research Group in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kentucky has one fully-funded opening for PhD, starting from Fall 2023. The deadline of application is March 15th. Experience in the related areas is NOT a must. However, solid backgrounds in mechanics, mathematics and programming are strongly preferred.

PhD Openings at Virginia Tech on Multiphysics Modeling and Computation

There are at least one PhD position opening next year, starting in 08/2023 in Prof. Kevin Wang's research group at Virginia Tech. The new student(s) will work in multiphysics modeling and computation, focusing on fluid-structure and fluid-material interaction, with applications in biomedical, aerospace, ocean, and civil engineering.
