How to create a threaded bolt in Abaqus or ansys
Hi everone
I want to molel an implant. I want to create a bolt in Ansys or abaqus. but I cant create its threades. can you help me ?

Did you have any progress in developing your model? I should do something the same, and I have problems defining threads in abaqus.

you can create the threads using Revolve. just draw a cross section of thread and use Revolve and enter the angle and pitch.
