CAMP-Nano Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

At CAMP-Nano, the postdoctoral experience is an opportunity for further scientific training and professional development for individuals who have recently completed a doctoral degree. Postdoctoral fellows bring expertise and creativity that enrich the research environment for all members of the center community, including graduate and undergraduate students.

Objective
The objectives of the CAMP-Nano Fellowship Program are to provide fellowships to outstanding individuals in new and emerging scientific and engineering research fields and to integrate diversity into the CAMP-Nano research culture.
Eligibility
The CAMP-Nano Fellowship Program is open to all recent Ph.D. recipients in any scientific and engineering disciplines relevant to research conducted at CAMP-Nano. Candidates must have earned their Ph. D. within three years of appointment date and cannot currently hold a postdoctoral appointment with CAMP-Nano.

Application Process
The CAMP-Nano Fellowship is being sponsored by CAMP-Nano and State Key Laboratory for Mechanical Behavior of Materials located at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and coordinated by the Executive committee of CAMP-Nano.
The candidates will need to submit the following:
• Curriculum Vitae
• Statement of Research Interest
• Three (3) Letters of Reference

Selection and Approval Process
Applications should be submitted electronically to  campnano@mail.xjtu.edu.cn . The due dates for submission are Mar. 1, 2013 and Sep. 1, 2013. The CAMP-Nano Fellowship Review Committee (an ad hoc committee) will determine which applicants will be approved based on the following criteria:
• Qualifications and merit of research
• Relevance of qualifications to CAMP-Nano research needs
• Diversity of experience/educational background
No special consideration will be given based on gender, nationality, or ethnic background.
