Postdoctoral research on bone fracture mechanics

One-year postdoctoral research on the fracture mechanics of bone is available at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. The project is a joint research between UBC Biomaterials (biomaterials.MTRL.ubc.ca) and the
Centre for Hip Health and Mobility (www.hiphealth.ca). The research is a combination of experimental studies (failure analysis,
mechanical testing, micro-CT imaging, laser scanning confocal microscopy
etc) and stress analysis. Background in Materials, Mechanics and bone is
