Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering

The University of West Florida (UWF) is establishing a new undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering (ME) to tentatively start in fall 2016. UWF invites experienced applicants in the ME or related fields for a faculty position at the Associate Professor level starting fall 2015 (Position # 122040). The successful candidate will work with the chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, the college dean and the Provost Office to set the foundations of the new program and work out the details of its curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience developing and launching new engineering programs and who are familiar with ABET program assessment and accreditation.
