We would like to announce An ECCOMAS Advanced Course on Computational Structural Dynamics, shortcourse2016.it.cas.cz . The short course on computational structural dynamics will be held form July 13 to July 17, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The course covers topics relating to modern and recent numerical methods in computational structural dynamics, finite element method in linear and nonlinear dynamic cases, wave propagation in solids and its numerical solution, numerical methods in dynamic crack propagation problems, modern methods for direct time integration and partitioned analysis (domain decomposition methods, FETI, etc..),  modal and spectral analysis,  coupled problems in mechanics (e.g. fluid-structure interaction), vibroacoustic problems  and many others.

The intended audience of this short course comprises graduate students, post docs, junior and senior scientists and also practical engineers who would like to learn more about state of the art techniques and advanced and modern numerical methods in computational structural dynamics. Lectures will be followed by comprehensive, theoreical and practical sessions.

Should you be interested in attending the short course, we are looking forward to receiving your electronic application (http://shortcourse2016.it.cas.cz/im/regform2/index or see attached flyer) by March 15, 2016.
