CALL FOR ABSTRACTS FOR THE 6TH BIOT CONFERENCE ON POROMECHANICS

The 6th Biot Conference on Poromechanics (http://biot2017.sciencesconf.org/ ) will be held just outside of Paris, France, at École des Ponts ParisTech and IFSTTAR, from July 9 to July 13, 2017. The Biot conference is organized only once every 4 years and is the main international event for experts in poromechanics. All topics related to porous solids that deform and contain one or several pore
fluids are relevant. This edition will be held as a tribute to Olivier Coussy (1953-2010), who was the first recipient of the ASCE Biot medal. Deadline for abstract submission is September 15, 2016.

The conference chair and co-chairs will be Matthieu Vandamme ((Laboratoire Navier, ENPC), Patrick Dangla (Laboratoire Navier, IFSTTAR), and J.-M. Pereira (Laboratoire Navier, ENPC).  See the conference flyer for details.
