                                                                  Deadline to submit an Abstract is Dec 15!

The 2017 EMI International Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be an excellent opportunity for interactions and exchanges within the global mechanics community, in general, and shall offer South American engineers, in particular, a chance to become familiar with the EMI and ASCE activities.

Please note the additional deadline (May 31, 2017) for submitting papers related to presentations at the conference for publication in a post-conference proceedings in the prestigious book series "Trends in Engineering Mechanics Special Publications” (TEMSP)" sponsored by ASCE’s Engineering Mechanics Institute, which reports on important developments in areas of engineering mechanics. Papers submitted to the post-conference book may also be considered, after further extension and a new peer review, for publication in a special issue of ASCE's Journal of Engineering Mechanics.
