One Post doctoral positions in structural health monitoring at Northwestern Polytechnical University, China

Professor Chao Xu's research group (Chao Xu | ResearchGate) has one open post-doc position at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China. 

The position will start from the first half of 2023 for at least two-year period of contract. 

The applicant must have a PhD degree not more than 3 years, aged below 35-years-old. The applicant has good research experience and publication records in the field of structural dynamics, structural health monitoring and smart material and structures is strongly encouraged to apply. Please note the applicant should not be regular staff at other institutions. Fresh graduates are welcomed. 

The salary is RMB 200,000 - 240,000 /each year dependent on academic performance.   

The research topics are structural health monitoring of aerospace structures. The related research areas involve with ultrasonic guided-wave/electromechanical impedance based structural health monitoring of aerospace structures, nanocomposite sensors for aerospace SHM application and digital twins for SHM.  The expected duties for the position are to participate in various research projects, develop new research proposals/new research initiatives, and publish research outcomes in the journals and assist supervising students in research.
