 CSME/CFD2024 – Solid Mechanics Symposium

The Solid Mechanics Technical Committee of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME) is pleased to invite you to submit a paper or an abstract on a variety of topics relevant to theoretical, computational, and experimental aspects of Solid Mechanics to the 2024 CSME/CFD International Congress. The congress will be held at the University of Toronto, Canada, from May 26 to May 29, 2024. Advanced architected materials, Cellular solids, Metamaterials, Multifunctional and multiscale structures, Composites, 3D printed materials/structures, and Bio-inspired or Biomimetic materials are examples of the topics covered in the solid mechanics symposium. Abstract/paper submission:

Abstract (400 words) and paper (6 pages) submissions are welcome. Papers submitted by students are eligible for the CSME Student Paper Competition.

Submission deadline – January 29, 2024

Notification of acceptance – March 11, 2024

Early bird registration deadline – April 15, 2024
