Spring in Abaqus

Dear all
When i assign the springs between pair points in two
plate over each other, the spring definitely acts in one direction only
(perpendicular to the plates), but they must be assigned in such a way
that the springs work in three orthogonal directions. it is important to
mention that the two plate is fastened using screws, where the spring
has been used for screw.
how can i overcome this problem?

I recommend connectors
Hello Mahmud,
I have recently seen your post, and I would suggest, that you check the connector elements in ABAQUS. You can find ones with proper kinematic characteristics (I would use SLOT+ALIGN, as I did in modeling a spring which is fixed in the space). You can define elastic and plastic material behaviour, as well as damage. So they are quite universal.
