Post-Doctoral Position at the University of Texas at Austin

The Research Center for Mechanics of Solids, Structures and Materials at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for two open positions as Post-doctoral Fellow. The specific projects involve (i) the characterization of the constitutive and failure behavior of structural materials (aluminum alloys, steels, titanium alloys and other selected materials) under quasi-static and dynamic conditions, and (ii) the characterizaation and modeling of the dynamic response of metal-matrix composites. These positions are available immediately. Candidates with a strong background in mechanics of solids and structures, and with experience in experimental, analytical, and numerical characterization of material response are invited send their resume and list of references to: Prof. K.
