I'm a former graduate student at the University of Nebraska. I got my master of science degree in engineering mechanics in Aug 2007. My advisor is Joseph A. Turner and my research was focused on characterizing stress in materials using acoustoelasticty. In my undergraduate years I attended Hastings College, a smaller liberal arts college in Nebraska where I earned my bachelors degree in physics. I was also a member of the cross country and track teams while I was there.

These days I'm working as a flight dynamics engineer at Johnson Space Center for a NASA contractor. It's a cool job but part of me really wants to go back and get a PhD.
