1. Integrated method for body-fluid interaction problem, consisting of deforming body dynamics (BD) and unsteady fluid dynamics (FD), for mechanics of freely and self-propelled fish maneuvering.
2.Kinematics, flow physics and control mechanisms of koi carp’s routine swimming, including burst-and-coast swimming and routine turns, with computation and experiments (tracking measurements and PIV measurements) combined.
