Webinar: 3D Printed Anatomical Models: How Mediprint Leverage Synopsys and Stratasys Technology for Patient-specific Solutions

Wed, Nov 14, 2018 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM GMT

This customer webinar from Mediprint will show the benefits of medical 3D printing, with a particular focus on organs. Mediprint will discuss their use of Synopsys Simpleware™ software to generate robust models ready for 3D printing using Stratasys machines. Insights from the workflow will show the ease and speed by which these models can be created, and the many benefits for clinicians using 3D printed models such as organs.

Optimizing Coil Design for the Large Hadron Collider

The High Luminosity (HiLumi) upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) relies, amongst other additional upgrades, on superconducting 11 T dipole magnets for increasing the luminosity of the beam to enlarge the data sample for physics experiments. The new dipole magnets are manufactured from Nb3Sn superconducting elements that become very brittle after a very specific and necessary heat treatment during the manufacturing stage.
