Help for contact problem in tires

HI

I am trying to modeled a 3D tire assembly for a tire footprint. I assembled the tire, rim and the rigid-body as the road. I modeled the rim as an analytical rigid body. I am using STATIC GENERAL as the stpe with automatic stabilization. I have defined a following for the contact formulation in ABAQUS Standard:

1) Between the tire and road (analytical rigid-body):Surface to surface contact - Master surface: analytical rigid-body and Slave surface : the tire surface in contact with the rigid-body. The ineraction properties are:

Tangential behavior: Friction Formulation: Penalty, coeff. of frictio=0.3

Normal Behavior: Constraint enforcement method: default, Pressure-overclosure:hard contact

2) Rim(rigid-body) and tire: surface to surface contact -Master surface: Rim and Slave surface: the tire surface in contact to the rim. The ineraction properties are:

Tangentail behavior:  Friction Formulation: Penalty, coeff. of frictio=0.3

Normal behavior:  Constraint enforcement method: augumented Lagrange (standard),

                                                                 Pressure-overclosure:hard contact

Geometirc properties: out of plane surface thickness or cross-sectional area (standard)=0.0227273

and I also defined a constraint between the rim and tire as a analytical rigid body tie in CONSTRAINT

When I ran the program everytime I will get an error too many attempts made for this increment.  Then I try to run the program with either the constraint only or interaction only for the contact formualtion between the tire and rim. Then when I tried only for the analytical rigid tie betweent the tire and rim, the program did ran for 0.36s (total step time 1s) and again got the same problem.

I don't think I have any problem with the material properties because I have been using the same material properties for inflation analysis of tires and no problem there. I am desperately looking for a help. Thank you.
