PLEASE HELP! - Foundations in Abaqus

Hello,
I'm a new Abaqus user. I'm trying to model deep and shallow foundations in Abaqus with Mohr Coulomb failure criterion. Without success unfortunately :(
Would anyone be that kind and help me? If it is only possible please send me *.cae file or a link where I can find it. With examples of this kind of modelling and I will try to learn and find mistakes in my model.

Firstly, Your model is 2D or 3D?
Because if it is 2D you can only use plan strain element.
Mohr coulomb law can not be used in plan stress element in Abaqus.
You should provide detailed information about your problems, otherwise no one can help you.

Hi, Anna, from your model I guess you use meters as the unit of length. For example, You wanted to apply 0.1meter displacement to the foundation (Mohr Coulumb Plate), and try to find the load displacement curve.
The calculation stops due to the divergency of iteration. This may come from the too distortion of your mesh under foundation, it may cause the ill of the Jacobian matrix So if it is possible you can
make dense mesh just around the region of you foudation. And try it after.
Or maybe you have applied to much displacement on the top of plate or pile, so when you model reached the limit it stopped. You can not expect every calculation to be converged. So just plot your results, maybe you already have what you want

I think I know what is the reason of weird values of friction on the
pile/column shaft. Can You check initial geostatic conditions? I use
Geostatic step with gravity(propagated to next step) applied to whole
model (soil+pile/column+plate). After calculations when I check values
of stresses, Step-1 Frame-1 stresses as i defined, last Frame small
difference in stresses + displacements which are not insignificant.
In pile model additionaly shear stress in contact appears what
shouldn't happend, right?. I understand that it is causedby difference
in density?
Do You have any idea how can I avoid Shear Stress in the Step-1? How should I applied initial state of stress to do it?
