Could you please help me how to assign damping coefficient in pro mechanica of WF 2.0? I am simulating a vibration problem of a steel structure. The vibration is transmitted to the steel structure from a machine, whcih is supported on the structure. Now I want to isolate the machine from the steel structure by inserting a absorber inbetween them. I have succeeded to assign the spring stiffness. But I am unable to assign the damping coefficent. It is wrriten in the document that damping can be assign in "FEM Mode" only. But this is not supported my current license agreement. Could you please help me in any other way of assigning the damping coefficient?
