We are seeking outstanding candidates for a 4 year PhD studentship fully funded by the UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering. The student will be jointly supervised by Dr. Emad Moeendarbary based in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Dr Umber Cheema based at the Division of Surgery and Interventional Sciences.

Studentship Description:

Description: Outstanding applications are invited to join the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UCL as part of an EPSRC industrial CASE (iCASE) PhD studentship. The PhD project is being jointly supervised by Professor Ian Eames and Dr Emad Moeendarbary from the Department of Mechanical Engineering (University College London, UCL) and Dr Alireza Azarbadegan from BP plc (British multinational oil and gas company).

We are seeking an outstanding PhD candidate to join Mechanics in Biology and Medicine laboratory (MecBioMed.com) as part of a multidisciplinary collaborative project between Dr Emad Moeendarbary at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (University College London, UCL) and Dr Fernando Calvo at the Division of Cancer Biology (Institute of Cancer Research, London).
