Multiscale Modeling Consortium

The Multiscale Modeling (MSM ) Consortium has been set up by a an interagency modeling and analysis group (IMAG ) comprised of staff from 17 NIH components, four NSF directorates, two Department of Energy (DOE) components, five Department of Defense (DOD) components, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United States Department of Veterans Administration(USDVA) to provide a forum for discussion on matters related to MSM research and
through whitepapers and yearly meetings provide them with a thorough briefing of the current advances in the field and future directions. In particular, I will like to point you to the Theoretical and Computational Methods  (TCM) workgroup that is focused on multiscale modeling techniques for biological systems. This Wiki has been set up to provide information to the community and to solicit ideas. If you are interested in contributing to the Wiki please feel free to contact me (des@rpi.edu).
