Am trying to model prestressed box girder bridge for high speed railway analysis.Am not getting how to model prestressing force using ABAQUS/CAE.I have seen that it's not possible with CAE. Please say me an alternative way to model prestressing force.
I tried by "embedding" parabolic wire element (tendon) in the concrete and applied prestressing force as axial force and udl(giving line load on tendon,upward).But my results not matching with the theoritical value.Is this a correct way of approximating prestressing force??
suggest me a better solution.
