Non-linear analysis of Flat rectangular laminated plates

Submitted by tej kiran.m on

Hi,

I am working on my post grads project, i would be very thankful if anyone does needful in this regard.

I need some suggestions in deriving out the non-linear governing  equation for a simply supported flat rectangular laminated plate , here i considered a uniformly distributed load.

I have taken Von-Karman strains e(xx), e(yy), e(xy) with non-linear terms for a single term,

to derive the equilibrium equations of motion, is virtual principles of work or displacement necessary?

I am using classical plate theory for the analysis.

Suggest me in this regard.
