SPH inlet & outlet boundary conditions for internal flow (dynamically creating/removing particles from computational domain)

Hi All,

I am trying to model internal flows using SPH in Abaqus. The current problem I am running into are the inlet/outlet boundary conditions. I need a way to be able to monitor the inlet and outlet zones and dynamically remove/create nodes (i.e., particles). Here is the process I have in mind.

(1) When a particle leaves the inlet zone the boundary condition that is applied at the inlet zone needs to be removed from it(i.e., if V= 5 m/s for inlet condition, once its moves out of the numerical inlet zone V will be calculated from intergrating accelerations calculated from SPH formulations of Navier-Stokes equation)

(2) When a particle leaves the outlet zone it needs

   (a) to be removed from the computational domain

   (b) a new particle needs to be injected in the inlet zone in the same location with a specified boundary condition

Any help is much appreciated. So far checking the documentation I haven't found anything. Is this possibly a limitation?
