Lecturer in Computational Mechanics, Cardiff School of Engineering
We are seeking to recruit an early career academic in Engineering at Lecturer level who will join the computational mechanics research group. You should have a proven research expertise in advanced numerical methods for computational mechanics. You will be expected to work effectively within the computational research group in Cardiff, strengthen its core research activities and develop complementary expertise.
You should also have the ability to contribute to undergraduate and post graduate teaching programmes in engineering.
You will
contribute to the research record of the School by carrying out research of international standing; submit your work for publication to high-quality international journals; contribute to research funding bids; achieve recognisable outputs in the areas of teaching, research, and industrial collaboration, commensurate with School norms; deliver high-quality and research-led teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; contribute to the national and international profile of the School and achieve recognisable impact upon the academic, commercial, and professional communities.
This position is full time and open-ended.
Salary: £31,342 - £37,394 per annum (Grade 6)
