Dear Colleagues:

We would like to invite you to present your research work at the mini-symposium – “Phase Transformations, Dislocations and Interface Mechanics” (Session ID: 1605) at the 13th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (New York City, from July 22 to 27 of 2018).

The main scope of the Symposium is to present and discuss deformation in materials, including various phase transformations, dislocations, and their interactions with a variety of materials interfaces such as grain boundaries and phase boundaries, as well as to establish the interrelationships between mechanical, physical and mathematical approaches for the considered phenomena at various length and time scales. Experimental, theoretical, computational methods as well as their applications are welcome.

Further information about the conference and venue can be found in email below and at:

Abstract submission is open and will remain open until December 31, 2017. Information on submitting an abstract may be found at

Please also do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
