Submit your abstracts to the International Conference on Fatigue Damage of Structural Materials
You are invited to submit your research to the twelfth International Conference on Fatigue Damage of Structural Materials, which will be held in scenic Cape Cod at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Hyannis, Massachusetts from the 16-21 September 2018. It will bring together delegates from around the world to discuss how to characterize, predict, and analyze the fatigue damage of structural materials.
Oral and poster abstracts are now invited on the following topics. They should be submitted using the online abstract submission system.
Conference Topics
- Environmental Cracking
- High Temperature Cracking
- Advanced Crack Characterization Techniques
- Atomistic-to-Microstructure Scale Computational Modelling
- Microstructural Origins of Crack Formation and Propagation
- Fatigue of Additively Manufactured Materials
- Loading Protocol Effects (e.g. multi-axial, variable amplitude, thermo-mechanical, contact fatigue)
- Effects of Materials Modification (e.g. welds, shot peening)
- Next Generation Crack Tip Mechanics
Abstract submission deadline: 5 April 2018
