Dear All,
I am doing my master’s thesis using ANSYS-AUTODYN. I have some
problems in modeling the impact load in ANSYS-AUTODYN. I assign a velocity to a
projectile (steel) hitting a target wall (Concrete). Although I have changed
the mass of the projectile , I always receive the same pressure and
stresses. Do you have any explanation. Do you have any training
material/course/ examples regarding impact or blast load on AUTODYN.
Your help will be very much appreciated
i never work with autodyna
i never work with autodyna but i guess (not sure) you may have to build your model (geometry, mesh , elements, material first) and then go to "file" then "write DB log file", after that shut down your ansys and reopen it again then go to "file" , "reda input from" select the log file you few minuts ago created then adjust your solution and solve the problem, what does autodyna do? can one use it for impact?
