Hello everybody,i am trying to analyze a Fibre Metal Laminate ENF specimen for crack porpagation with ABAQUS. Therefore i am using the VCCT method. The model is running, but not with the expected outcome. The problem is that there is no crack propagation, as Mode II energy release rate is Zero. I really don't know why. I am using the "composite layup" function with continuum sheels and SC8R reduced integration continuum shell elements. To get an ENF specimen iam stacking this layup and model a frictionless contact between. The load is 400N in the middle.So does anyone see the problem, has some experience with ENF experiment or has an example input file for me, it really do need some help because it s very important for my master thesis.if someone likes to have a look I have attached my input file.thanks everybodyDaniel
