IRCSET Embark PhD Scholarships 2011

The Irish Research Council for Science, Enginneering and Technology (IRCSET) has recently opened its EMBARK Postgraduate Scholarship Programme 2011  - please see www.ircset.ie. Deadline for submitting applications is 16 February 2011. 

An applicant must first contact her/his provisional supervisor at the Irish University, to discuss her/his eligibility (primarily judged based upon student's record and CV). Then, a brief research plan should be prepared with the help of the provisional supervisor - in addition, a personal statement must be prepared by the applicant. This programme is primarily aimed at EU-candidates - all non-EU candidates should contact an IRCSET representative to discuss their eligibility. 

All research areas are considered.
