Del.icio.us

Del.icio.us is a social bookmarking web service. One might say, why do I need del.icio.us if I have bookmarking capabilities built right into my browser? Well, here are some reasons:

  • del.icio.us uses a non-hierarchical categorization system, that is, instead of organizing your bookmarks in folders, you assign tags to them. One bookmark can have multiple tags, so it's easier to find what you want.
  • You can share bookmarks with others
  • You can subscribe to specific tags, which shows you all new sites tagged thermodynamics, for example, in your browser or as an RSS feed.
  • Web bookmarks are accessible on any computer.

As an example, all journal articles are online, so you can bookmark an article
