Dear All,
The 33rd Annual Robert J. Melosh Competition for the Best Student Paper in Computational Mechanics will be held at Duke University on October 21st, 2022.
The Computational Mechanics and Methods Group (CM3) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky is seeking highly self-motivated individuals who have great interest in the broad research area of computational solid mechanics and methods. Ideal applicants should have strong background in solid mechanics and great interest in computational modeling & simulation. Related research experience in material failure modeling and simulation is a plus.
The Gu Research Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley has postdoctoral positions available.
We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following research topics:
- Machine learning with experience in graph neural networks and reinforcement learning
- Finite element analysis (ANSYS, ABAQUS, or COMSOL) and computational fluid dynamics
- Additive manufacturing of soft materials and biomaterials
On behalf of Texas A&M University & Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, we are excited to announce that over 80 symposia in 10 thematic areas have been accepted for the 2022 Society of Engineering Science (SES) Annual Technical Meeting that will be held on our campus in College Station, Texas, from October 16-19, 2022.
Dear Colleagues,
I will join the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. I have two fully-funded Ph.D. student positions in my group. The students will work in general fields of computational materials science and solid mechanics. Please share the attached flyer with anyone who may be interested.
Thank you
