Can you please suggest me some basic papers and references in multiscale modeling and simulation of materials. I am quite naive in this field. I have some exposure to solid mechanics and finite element techniques. I understand that I need to study molecular dynamic simulations also, where again I need advice for basic references.  I would be thankful for your help.

Please suggest me any good reference on curvilinear convected coordinates. I am finding it difficult to physically interpret and visualize the concept. I would be very thankful.
