10 PhD positions in Sustainable Metallurgy (Simulation & Experiments)

The International Max Planck Research School for Sustainable Metallurgy (IMPRS SusMet) offers 10 fully funded PhD positions in Sustainable Metallurgy for three years (Simulations & Experiments). Excellent candidates with a Masters degree in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar fields are invited to apply. Experience in atomistic simulations (e.g. LAMMPS) and in-depth knowledge on microstructure - property relationships and modeling of mechanical behavior is highly desirable.
