The PMDM/LERMPS group at the University of Technology of Belfort-MontBéliard in France is looking for a Ph.D. student to work in the field of experimental characterization and thermomechanical modeling of ferromagnetic materials. Candidate must have good writing skills and strong background on solid mechanics. master position on modeling of laser texturing

Dear all,

 

A master position is open at University of Technology of Belfort-MontBéliard in France. The master projet is essentially focused on the modeling of the interaction between the laser and metals in order to predict surface morphology. 

The modeling has to account for the different physical phenomenon involved during the interaction. Therefore, comparison between experimental database and numerical results is expected.
