finite element analysis of two piece threaded rotating shaft

Submitted by A.Jabary on

hi dear specialists

can any one help me how to find any article related to " finite element analysis of two piece threaded rotating shaft" ?

specially I have to find stress distribution on threaded area due to torsional loading on shaft

thanks for your response....

Unified finite element formulation for computational solid mechanics

Submitted by chenna on

Dear iMechanica members,

I have recently proposed a novel finite element framework for computational solid mechanics. I hope you find it interesting. I appreciate any feedback.

Towards addressing some long-standing issues in performing explicit elastodynamic simulations of incompressible hyperelastic and elastoplastic material models, finite element formulations based on Bézier elements are developed. The formulations are based on quadratic Bézier triangular and tetrahedral elements.
