Journal of Vibration and Acoustics Special Issue on Topological Mechanics

Submitted by Jihong Ma on

Dear colleagues, we are excited to announce that the ASME Journal of Vibrations and Acoustics (JVA) invites submissions for a special issue on Topological Mechanics: Exploiting Geometric Phase in Mechanical & Acoustic Waves.
This special issue aims to publish original research contributions that explore both theoretical foundations and practical applications of topological acoustics and mechanics. A key focus will be on leveraging the geometric phase – an often underappreciated aspect of mechanical and acoustic waves – to address critical challenges across diverse domains.

If you are interested in highlighting your research in topological acoustics, please submit your article by August 16, 2026, following the link below:

We look forward to your contribution to this field of research!
