THE ROLE:
We are looking to appoint a well organised, highly motivated individual to take the lead role in a project to develop finite element approaches to simulating structures subject to earthquake loading.  The post is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), a shared venture between Cardiff University and LUSAS.  LUSAS is an independent company that develops and sells the LUSAS finite element software suite for engineering analysis, which is used by the top 20 civil engineering consultancies in the UK.
