The Department of Structural Engineering at the University Cagliari, ITALY, is
looking for a PhD-student who is interested in pursuing her/his PhD in
Continuum and Structural Mechanics.
The PhD is about innovative materials, in
the context of the theoretical, analytical, numerical and/or experimental modeling
of elastodynamics of micro-structured materials.
Qualification
Applicants should have a M.Sc. and B.E. in Mechanical or Civil
Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mechanics.
Requirements
Solid knowledge of continuum and structural mechanics, good programming
skills and ability to use Finite Element Method are expected.
Starting date
As soon as possible.
Competition
In order to get the position a written and oral competition will be held at the University of Cagliari.
