About J integral for curved crack
Fri, 2011-11-18 04:35 - zhangxiaodong
The well-known J integral is only valid for straight crack, am I right?
If no, can anyone please point me a reference for the J integral in case of curved crack?
thanks.

Re: About J integral for curved crack
J-integral can be obtained using Eshelby's energy-momentum tensor; J-integral for a straight crack is the component of the material (configurational) force along the straight crack. The following references might help.
