I am quiet new with ABAQUS. I am doing a final project for on of my
classes. I wanted to make a bullet impact to kevlar. I've already done
the model which works on different type of material with a imposed JC
damage model. All the elements are solid type
Right know I want to impose Kevlar material to this model, and after
many tries and searching the web I know that I need to write the VUMAT
subroutine. based on data I have two option, use Hashin model subroutine
or base subroutine on maximum allowable shear and tensile strain. And
at this point I have a two question:
- which option will be easier to write, because I have never done it before,
- where I can find some VUMAT damage code example with element deletion, so I could understand the way they work
