I am quite new in modeling concrete in ABAQUS. I wish to model a connection made of concrete under cyclic loads. Could anyone give me a hand and refer me to a basic work developed in this field.
you sould study about Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP) in abaqus manual, some stress-strain curves for concrete (confined and unconfined) and study about kinematic hardening in steel.
I refer you to Mander and Park's papers in concrete stress-strain curves. in other two subjects, you can read the manual and refer to references of manual for deeper study.
