1 year post-doc composites materials - thermal behaviour - ICA - Univ. of Toulouse

The Composites Material and Structures Group of Institut Clement Ader (www.institut-clement-ader.eu/) invites applications for a position in simulation of the thermal behaviour of composites materials at the postdoctoral research associate level. Closing date for applications: 15/04/2012 - Duration of the position: 12 months.We look for candidates with a strong scientific background in the following areas: 1/ Composite materials manufacturing 2/ Thermal behaviour and properties of composites 3/ Numerical modelling of their thermal properties (ABAQUS, COMSOL) 4/ Architecture of carbon fibres textiles.The ideal candidate will have enough background to: a/ be in charge of relationships with industrial partners (SME of Midi Pyrenees Region) b/ write all technical reports in French.
