About Franc3D/Osm 3.2 surface coordinate system issue

The software version I installed and used is 3.2 version. I created a
3-D brick and meshed it in ANSYS 14. Then, I output the .cdb file and
convert it using OSM 3.2 software. After that, I started FRANC3D 3.2
software and follow the guidance in the "Thin Shell
Tutorial v2.6". It was said that I have to check the surface coordinate
system by changing direction of "GREEN BARS to the Same X direction".

These are what I did. When I read from .dat geometry file from ANSYS
converted model (with mesh), I followed the step: develop model -->
specify attributes --> coordinate systems --> face coordinate
systems. The green bars on the same face of model are in same
direction. But each face has different direction for green bars. Also,
in the edge coordinate system, I found the same problem. And I cannot
figure out what to deal with.

My questions are:

1. I know that FRANC3D are using surface coordinate system. In my case,
do I need to change the green bar step by step to x direction. Moreover,
what is x direction for the model?

2. I noticed the tutorial of "Thin Shell Anaysis" also did some change
on the edge coordinate system. How to deal with that in my case? I can
get green bar on the edge along the line.

3. I was guessing that do I really need to change the directions of
green bars? If I did not use meshed model from ANSYS, can I use OSM to
create the model without mesh. So I will have no need to change the
directions, right?

4. For the 2D thin shell model, green bar direction can be changed to
only one in-plane direction. But for 3D model, there are vertical faces.
The green bars cannot be changed into one in-plane direction. Am I
right?
