The Cardiovascular and Tissue Mechanics Laboratory invites applications for a post-doctoral position in the area of computational simulation of cardiovascular diseases, particularly simulation of growth and remodeling of arterial tissues using geometrical models constructed from patient medical images.
Strong background in continuum mechanics and finite element programming experience are required. Experience of large scale computations, inverse optimization with FEM, or uncertainty analysis can be plus, but not necessary. The selected postdoctoral fellow will be supported by a current NIH R01 grant and is expected, in addition to the research, to help manage computing resources and activities in the lab.
To apply, send CV and contact information of three references to S. Baek (sbaek [at] egr.msu.edu).
