eroding during impact

hello
i simulted impact on ceramic plate but after the impact the element of
ceramic didnot erod. i use element deletation=yes, any body know what
should i do?

I am guessing that you were doing it in Abaqus, if so don't forget to request this field output -STATUS,Status (some failure and plasticity models; VUMAT). It will be in the State/Field/User/Time panel.
