Faculty Position in Sub-continuum Computational Mechanics - Drexel University, MEM Dept.

The Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department at Drexel University is seeking to fill multiple tenure-track faculty positions starting fall of 2013. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

1. Computational Solid Mechanics: Specific areas include, but are not limited to, emerging computational methods with emphasis on sub-continuum scale simulations and high performance computing for multiscale mechanics of novel materials.

2. Sensing and Instrumentation: Specific areas include, but are not limited to, biosensors, bio-instrumentation, cell/tissue-on-chips, bioreactors, high-throughput single cell analysis, medical diagnostics, and implantable devices.



3. Advanced Manufacturing and Design: Specific areas include, but are not limited to, scalable micro/nano-manufacturing, sustainable design and manufacturing processes, engineering systems design, and modern design methodologies
