I want to calculate
the thermal stress in the coating formed on tubes.
My question is about
the reference temperature in ANSYS.
I know that, in
ANSYS, by using the commond "mpdata,reft,...", I can assign a
constant reference temperature to each material type, for example to the
coating and tube respectively. However, can I assign the previously obtained
temperatures of the nodes (or elements) as their reference temperatures of next
load step? i.e. the reference temperature is different from node to node (or
from element to element) rather than a constant for all nodes haing the same
material type. For example, I can firstly perform a static thermal analysis,
and then apply the obtained temperatures of all the nodes (or elements) as
these nodes' reference temperatures in the following thermal stress
calculation. What should I do ?
Any of your
suggestions will be valuable! Thanks!
