Die simulation

Hello guys.

I have been trying to run a simulation that involve contacts. I have two dies that I used experimentally to introduce a shape on a flat plate and that was successful experimentally. Now I wanted to numerically find the strain stored to a plate numerically. I developed solid model for plate and the dies using solidworks. I imported the parts to abaqus and all the material properties were defined. I did define the contacts with contact properties which is tangential with penalty but the simulation does not finish. It gives error messages like Displacement increment is too big. I have been trying to check the problem but i cannot find anything. Could please help me, I need to submit my thesis but I cannot without this simulation. If you need a file, I can send it to anyone who is willing to help me.
